This Refund Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms and conditions for refunds related to Kitaabh's cloud accounting platform, website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Kitaabh Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Kitaabh", "we", "our", or "us"). This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.

All subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
New customers may be eligible for a 14-day free trial of paid plans. During the trial period, you can explore the full functionality of your selected plan without any payment obligation.
We do not collect your credit card or payment information during the free trial period. At the end of your trial period, you will be prompted to select a subscription plan and provide payment details if you wish to continue using the Services.
When your free trial ends, you will need to choose a subscription plan and provide payment information to continue using the Services. If you do not subscribe at the end of your trial, your account will be downgraded to our free plan, with limited features and functionality.
For new customers making their first subscription purchase, we offer a 7-day refund window from the date of initial payment, provided:
After the 7-day window following initial purchase, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. When you cancel a subscription:
Transaction packs are non-refundable once purchased, as they represent pre-purchased capacity for your account. Transaction packs remain valid for one year from the purchase date, regardless of subscription changes.
Fees for additional users and organisations are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced. When removing add-ons:
If our Services experience significant downtime that materially affects your business operations (exceeding our Service Level Agreement commitments), you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund or credit for the affected period. To qualify:
If we make significant changes to the core functionality of our Services that materially reduce the value of your subscription, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund for the remainder of your billing period. We will notify you of such changes in advance.
If you believe you have been incorrectly charged or there is an error in your billing, please contact our support team within 30 days of the charge. We will investigate and issue a refund if we confirm an error has occurred.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Policy, we will provide refunds as required by applicable Indian consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

For annual subscriptions, early cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of the unused portion of your subscription. Your service will continue until the end of the paid period.
The free CA plan provided to verified Chartered Accountants is not subject to refund policies as it is provided at no cost.
Custom Enterprise plans may have specific refund terms outlined in their individual service agreements, which take precedence over this general policy.
Early access offers, including price lock guarantees (such as locking in launch pricing for 3 years with annual billing), are contractual commitments that remain in effect as long as the subscription remains active without interruption. Cancellation and resubscription will result in the loss of such promotional offers.
For refunded amounts, any GST previously charged will be adjusted accordingly. You will receive a credit note for the refunded amount, including applicable GST.
Upon processing a refund, we will provide appropriate documentation for your tax and accounting records, including a formal credit note.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Policy on our website or through other communications. Your continued use of our Services after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Policy.
